Nature and Relaxation in the Dolomites throughout the year
Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm is an explosion of green in summer! Kissed by the rays of sunshine and a pleasant breeze, it’s such a pleasure to explore the high plateau on foot during guided hikes or by bike. In fact, there are 350km of paths dotted with huts and 200km of bike and mountain bike trails. If you love a good adrenaline kick, you can try out climbing, while golf lovers will have fun at the 18-hole St. Vigil Seis golf course. Even our smallest guests will be spoilt for choice with playgrounds, petting zoos, thematic hikes, and horse rides. But there are plenty of other sports waiting for you, such as mini golf, Nordic walking, volleyball, and much more.
Even autumn and spring have their charms on the high plateau: our Eden Apartments, located in the center of Seis am Schlern in the heart of the Dolomites, are now bookable all year round – even outside the high season on the Seiser Alm.
During the Golden Autumn, from mid-October to early December, and the gentle spring awakening, from mid-April to mid-May, the stunning landscape surrounding the plateau invites you to explore at a leisurely pace – far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Even though the Seiser Alm cable car is closed for about six weeks during this period for maintenance, our guests don’t have to miss out on unforgettable excursions. By car or using bus line 179 (free with the South Tyrol Guest Pass), you can reach Compatsch on the Seiser Alm and start your hike from there during the cable car’s closure.
Moreover, with the Guest Pass, you can use all public buses and trains in the region for free during your stay. This makes it easy to discover nearby towns and historic cities such as Bolzano, Bressanone, or the spa town of Merano – car-free and stress-free!
